Hey gang, CNGchat needs your help!

For over a decade we have enjoyed providing this little corner of the Internet for folks to discuss all things natural gas vehicles. It is the largest forum of its kind: with some 70,000 posts on over 11,000 topics. But with continued low gasoline & diesel prices and strong automaker support for electric vehicles, consumer interest in CNG has dropped considerably, and with it has visitor traffic here. As a result, Google ad revenues no longer cover hosting fees.

If you find CNGchat to be a useful resource then please consider making a modest donation to support keeping this remarkable pool of knowledge available to the alternative fuels community. Thanks!

  • Greetings

New to this forum and CNG. I am the owner of a mobile diesel repair business and I'm here to learn about CNG repair and tanks, and anything else related to CNG. I am also interested in purchasing a used CNG truck that I can add to my fleet of repair truck. Looking forward to conversing with you all. I am in Southern Ca. Huntington Beach to be exact.

Hey, one of the best resources for CNG information is in your area. Contact Cal Macy at Long Beach City College. They have an excellent program.

    Good luck,

Thanks for the information. I just now saw this. Trying to be more active on this site now.

Alternative Fuel Technologies 17092 Gothard St Huntington Beach CA installed a liquid filled pressure gage on my 2004 firewall back in, say, 2005. This shop did a lot of tank installs for commercial fleets at the time.

I have tried to reach Alternative Fuel Tech but it looks as thought they have gone out of business.
