Adsorbed CNG aka ANG , at 900 psi. ( activated carbon as the storage media) .
Works great in the laboratory with relatively pure methane. The problem is activated carbon also likes impurities too. Typical compressed natural gas is a buffet of undesirable things , like water, compressor oil, carbon dioxide, ethane , etc. CNG derived from LNG and thermal compression could be the solution .
