    For NGTNews by Joseph Bebon -October 30, 2017: In partnership with Chesapeake Utilities, Kent County Tourism Corp. unveiled a CNG mobile visitor center at the Air Mobility Command Museum in Kent County, Del., on Friday. The mobile visitor center is a bi-fuel Ford Transit Connect.

    Chesapeake Utilities is proud to support responsible growth and imaginative promotion of tourism in our region, said Aleida Socarras, vice president of Chesapeake Utilities. The mobile visitor center does that by inviting people to all the wonderful quaint villages of Kent County, while being fueled by environmentally friendly, domestic natural gas.

      Ford 2.5L Transit Connect is still listed in the vehicle availability list for 2018. The 12+ gge CNG tank provides over 300 miles range, and the vehicle is bi-fuel for additional range on gasoline.,

      In the used market, a dozen have been posted since 2016 on eBay, GovDeals and PublicSurplus. Four sold, fetching $14K each for a 2014 and 2012 each having under 20K miles, and a 2011 and 2012 each went for $3300 and $4700 respectively - having 150,000 miles. The used vehicles were sold in AZ, CA, IL, MI, NJ, and OH.

      Available in passenger van or cargo versions, it lends itself to many applications and has a parts and service network nationwide.
