  • Any CNG users make a recent trip from WA to CA?

Need to make an emergency trip to SFO from Seattle.

Any recent experiences with the station route?
I'm particularly worried about the Medford, OR stations to that first station access in Redding, CA going southbound.

Using this map, confirming PG&E and making calls to verify availability, however, hoping someone here has been recently.

Medford station was only open M-F during business hours when we rolled through. I'd call them to verify forms of payment, etc.

We did 55mph to make the next non-PG&E station, just over 300mi -- I forget the name of the town now. If you have a card (I assume you do) for Redding, it'll be a cakewalk.

The next closest CNG station south of Medford is CHICO, not Redding (nothing there).
Chico is a PGE station - card access only.
Next public one south on I5 would be Woodland at Yolo County Transportation.
Send a PM to 300mileclub and he can give specifics on a less mountainous route in N Calif that ends up in Yreka, then you get back on I5.
Save on some steep climbing fuel use...
