  • Alternative fuel vehicle refueling property Tax Credit expiring12/31/2011

It looks like the Alternative fuel vehicle refueling property tax credit didn't make it through the extension vote. This will impact those looking to install a home refueling appliance (HRA). It had previously been reduced from $2,000 to $1,000 and now to $0. Ever tightening federal budgets have resulted in several blows to alternative fuels incentives in recent times. This being the most recent.

free money is nice but we dont have it to give and cng should be able to make it on its own merits I have not got one doller from the goverment and I have sevral cng cars and trucks and gasoline is going up so cng becomes the fuel of choice the real cause of not having more cng cars in this country is exxon shell and other oil cos and the goverment that is owned by the oil cos. and dont forget the EPA
