  • CEC money is back!!

I'm a little surprised that the news hasn't already been posted but the CEC has annouced another round of incentives for CNG powered vehicles.... light duty all the way up to heavy duty. They've simplied the process for the shopper so anyone looking for a Civic CNG in California, log onto their web site to learn more.

They're offering $1,000 for the Civic. Currently there are only 14 left in the State but American Honda is prepared to transport cars from dealer in other state to California based dealers if there is retail demand for the cars.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thank you,

    Eric

$10 million available from California in NGV incentives - August 2015

Posted on August 13, 2015 by Admin in News Briefs

The California Energy Commission (CEC) has launched its Natural Gas Vehicle Incentive Program. The program is being administered by the University of California Irvine’s Institute of Transportation Studies on behalf of the CEC. Available is $10.18 million for the purchase of NGVs on a first come, first served basis, with a maximum of $25,000 offered per vehicle, ranging from 1,000 for a light-duty NGV to $25,000 per vehicle for heavy-duty Class 8 vehicles exceeding 33,000 pounds. Individuals, firms, and public agencies purchasing new, qualified natural gas vehicles are eligible for the rebates, which must be used for on-road NGVs purchased after August 07, 2015, or the date on the reservation confirmation, whichever is later. The vehicles must be registered in California and operated in the state at least 90 percent of the time for three years. Click HERE for additional information and application materials, and send in your incentive payment request with the required documentation.
