Hey gang, CNGchat needs your help!

For over a decade we have enjoyed providing this little corner of the Internet for folks to discuss all things natural gas vehicles. It is the largest forum of its kind: with some 70,000 posts on over 11,000 topics. But with continued low gasoline & diesel prices and strong automaker support for electric vehicles, consumer interest in CNG has dropped considerably, and with it has visitor traffic here. As a result, Google ad revenues no longer cover hosting fees.

If you find CNGchat to be a useful resource then please consider making a modest donation to support keeping this remarkable pool of knowledge available to the alternative fuels community. Thanks!

  • City of Newman, CA is online with a new Bauer CNG system!

Revolution CNG has just completed installation of a new BAUER C22.0 Duplex CNG compressor for the City of Newman, CA. The site also includes a pair of WILCO 5500 psi CNG storage spheres, a Tulsa Gas Technologies priority panel and a pair of TGT buffer fill posts. This site is unfortunately not equipped to serve retail customers.

Seems the CNG equipment would be at 712 Fresno St Newman CA. City corporate yard there with commercial fueling next door. For the drivers without PG&E cards to access Los Banos, this location, if public, would be a good place to get extra fuel for the long hot stretch of Interstate 5 in order to drive with the AC on at 70 mph. (Many stations built with TAX money are not open to the TAX payers.)
