Hey gang, CNGchat needs your help!

For over a decade we have enjoyed providing this little corner of the Internet for folks to discuss all things natural gas vehicles. It is the largest forum of its kind: with some 70,000 posts on over 11,000 topics. But with continued low gasoline & diesel prices and strong automaker support for electric vehicles, consumer interest in CNG has dropped considerably, and with it has visitor traffic here. As a result, Google ad revenues no longer cover hosting fees.

If you find CNGchat to be a useful resource then please consider making a modest donation to support keeping this remarkable pool of knowledge available to the alternative fuels community. Thanks!

  • Question for CA owners of 2007 BAF Crown vic/Lincoln/Mercury

Anyone in the California CNG community with a 2007 model year Crown Victoria, Lincoln Town Car, or Mercury Grand Marquis have the California Air Resources Board (CARB) executive order number (or documentation) for the conversion? Looking for this info in my quest to get an out-of-state car registered and smogged in California.

The emissions sticker from BAF under the hood should have 7BAFV04.61NN on it, right?
    If so, here it is:

That is perfect thank you. The California ARB site lists some, but not all of their executive orders so this was a little tricky to find. I also happened to get a copy of this from a very helpful person at the successor company of BAF. Lesson learned for me so far is that EPA cert and CARB cert are different. Now onward to the smog test.
