Hey gang, CNGchat needs your help!

For over a decade we have enjoyed providing this little corner of the Internet for folks to discuss all things natural gas vehicles. It is the largest forum of its kind: with some 70,000 posts on over 11,000 topics. But with continued low gasoline & diesel prices and strong automaker support for electric vehicles, consumer interest in CNG has dropped considerably, and with it has visitor traffic here. As a result, Google ad revenues no longer cover hosting fees.

  • Regulator problem

Have a CNGMRH regulator that has been working over 2 years. Now when I start the motor it starts and stops after a few seconds.
I know its the regulator that is the problem because when I install a diff regulator motor runs ok.
Have is what I have done so far.
    1. Check solenoid when I power it up can hear a click inside regulator and coil has resistance.
    2. Check filter. Ok
3 Removed one cover which has a rubber disk inside, looks ok. no holes.

    Far as I have gone.

    Any ideas?

IIRC Those are low cost regulators , . Just replace it if you have access to spares. My 2 cents of advise
