i have a 2005 silverado 2500 factory cng with 172K. what spark plugs should i use? i have not pulled the current ones to see what they are. chevy recommends acdelco iridium 41-110 plugs but they do not see the cng engine for that year. i heard that cng does not like iridium and platinum should be used. if i go to autozone they do have the cng engine but do not give the iridium plug as being compatible with that engine. they recommend platinum. what should i run?

also, what spark plug wires should i get? any difference for cng?

We used to recommend AC Delco iridium plugs for our dedicated NaturalDrive conversions, see this thread:
    http://www.cngchat.com/forum/forum/g...43-spark-plugs

Many of these vehicles have 10 years on the road and hundreds of thousands of miles behind them with no spark plug issues.

I don't imagine there will be any need to have special spark plug wires. Electrical current is electrical current... they don't see the alt fuel.
