  • crown victoria problem

hello all i am having a problem with my 1996 crown victoria (dedicated) and was going to try here before i took it to the dealer. it is like chugging when idling, it is trying to take off but it cant cause i have the brake applied when sitting a stop sign. if i put it in neutral it stops. i have taken it to a trans shop and they had it for two days and came back and told me it wasnt the tranny it was somewhere in the engine. it doesnt do it all the time just most of the time. it is not the injectors i have cleaned them time and time again and no change. it isnt throwing any codes at all.

I would like to know if the 1999 Ford Crown Victoria has a Idle air control valve. I cannot seem to find it so if it does please direct me to it!

Normally, it's on the back of the throttle body. It would have a 1/2" hose to the snorkle attached to it, and a two pin connector. It's held on by two bolts, and it may have a gasket.
